About Guillaume Counseling Services, P.C.

Guillaume Counseling Services, P.C., doing business as Guillaume Counseling, is an outpatient behavioral health practice serving clients in Oregon.
We provide individualized, inclusive, and culturally responsive mental health and relationship counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our areas of focus include maternal and paternal mental health, anxiety and mood disorders, and relationship concerns.
We provide in-person services in Portland, Oregon, and telehealth services throughout Oregon.

Our Vision

Impacting the world through tangible hope, healing, and support for families where children can grow in a safe, secure, and healthy environment.

Our Mission

We are an avenue of hope, healing, and support for families by working directly with individuals and couples to foster love, respect, health, and safety within the home. Through mental health and relationship counseling, we integrate faith, science, and wisdom to serve diverse communities through culturally specific care.

Our Values

Flexibility is a core value at Guillaume Counseling.

We recognize that our team members have families, responsibilities, goals, and lives outside of work, and we strive to provide flexibility in how they structure their schedules and manage their work.
We also believe flexibility is important in meeting the needs of the clients we serve. Many of our clients receive therapy on a regular weekly basis. However, mental health needs do not always fit neatly into the same schedule every week. At times, a client may need an additional session, more frequent support during a difficult period, or less frequent or as-needed appointments as they progress in treatment.
We look for clinicians who can provide consistency while also being responsive to changing client needs and maintaining appropriate clinical boundaries.

Flexibility at Guillaume Counseling is mutual: we strive to be flexible with our team, and we ask our team to remain flexible and responsive to the people we serve.

Our Team

Our team includes licensed and associate-level mental health clinicians, clinical supervisors, and administrative professionals working together to support the individuals, couples, and families we serve.
We value collaboration, professional growth, cultural responsiveness, and respect for the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of both our clients and team members.

Our Culture

Guillaume Counseling offers part-time and part-time-to-full-time opportunities, with a hybrid work model available for most positions. Flexibility is an important part of our workplace culture.
Our practice was founded by a busy mom who understands what it means to balance work, family, and multiple responsibilities. Many of our team members are also juggling different roles and responsibilities in their lives, just as many of the clients and families we serve are. We believe a supportive workplace should recognize that people have lives and responsibilities beyond their work.
We strive to provide flexibility while maintaining clear expectations, accountability, and high standards of care. Our culture emphasizes respect, patience, kindness, open communication, and mutual support. Team members have flexibility in establishing their schedules within the requirements of their positions and the needs of the clients they serve.
We also embrace technology, including the thoughtful use of AI, to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce unnecessary administrative burden, while maintaining appropriate professional judgment, privacy, and quality standards.
Our goal is to create an environment where work feels manageable and sustainable, where team members can grow professionally, enjoy the work they do, and have the support, flexibility, and tools needed to reduce burnout and build a career that works with their lives—not against them.

Why join us?

At Guillaume Counseling, all positions are W-2 employment. We offer part-time and part-time-to-full-time opportunities, flexible scheduling, and a hybrid work model for most positions.
We recognize that people join our team at different stages of their careers. We provide opportunities for team members to gain experience, develop new skills, take on new responsibilities, and grow professionally as our organization continues to grow.
For administrative and operational team members, we welcome individuals at all levels of experience. Some positions include on-the-job training, providing opportunities to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, expand knowledge of behavioral health operations, and prepare for increased responsibilities. As our organization grows, there may also be opportunities for advancement.
For clinical team members, our administrative team supports client access, scheduling of initial appointments, billing, credentialing, and other operational processes. Clinicians manage ongoing appointments directly with their clients, providing additional flexibility in managing their schedules.
We also embrace technology, including the thoughtful use of AI, to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce unnecessary administrative burden.
Our goal is to provide supportive and accessible management, flexibility, opportunities for professional growth, and an environment where team members can enjoy the work they do while gaining experience and building sustainable careers.
